Juliana Amann was born and raised in Denver, Colorado; she received her college education at CU Boulder and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s in Psychology and also English Creative Writing. She has been a digital marketing professional for the past 10 years and is currently a Marketing Programs Specialist for IHS Technology and a part-time Brand Ambassador for Planet Media, a creative marketing agency. She has also been a freelance writer for online publications and has taught English abroad in Spain. Currently she is a part-time student pursuing a master’s degree in Communication Management at DU, lives in Westminster, Colorado with her husband and enjoys yoga, home gardening and traveling.

Hi Juliana, I don’t know if you made the connection when you read my post on the Grand Canyon raft trip, but this is Amaya Engleking, we knew each other in Boulder by mutual friends Sandra and Danielle. You look like you are doing very well; that photo of you is stunning! I don’t know how I never knew that you were into poetry, but it is by far the best way for me to communicate.
